How much does drywall installation cost in Cape Town?
Every project is different, so we don't publish fixed rates. What we do offer is a free site visit and an itemised quote with no hidden costs. You'll know exactly what you're paying for.
What is the difference between drywall and conventional plastering?
Drywall is faster to install, cleaner on site, and easier to modify later. Brick and plaster is more permanent and better suited to load-bearing applications. For internal partitions, ceilings, and fit-outs, drywall is almost always the smarter and more cost-effective choice.
Is drywall SANS compliant for fire and acoustic ratings?
Yes, we install boards and systems that meet SANS acoustic requirements. If your spec calls for it, we build to it.
Can drywall be used in bathrooms and wet areas?
Yes, using moisture-resistant boards specifically manufactured for wet zones. Standard drywall should never be used in bathrooms or kitchens. We specify the correct board for every application.
Is drywall cheaper than brick and mortar in South Africa?
In most cases yes, significantly. Drywall installs faster, requires less labour, produces less waste on site. For commercial fit-outs especially, the time saving alone justifies the choice.

Do you work directly from architectural drawings?
Yes, and we prefer it. Working from drawings means less guesswork, tighter tolerances, and a finish that matches the architect's intent. Send us your drawings and we'll quote directly from them.
What happens if something needs attention after handover?
