Kloof Street Boutique Hotel

A 32-key boutique hotel inserted into a heritage building on Kloof Street. The interior designer specified curved ceiling reveals in the lobby, acoustic-rated party walls between rooms, and bespoke MDF wall panelling throughout the public areas.

We collaborated with the heritage consultant to ensure all new partitions were free-standing from heritage fabric. Curved ceiling reveals were template-cut on site and finished to a level-5 plaster standard before paint.

Opened to guests on schedule. Acoustic testing on handover returned Rw 52 between rooms, comfortably above the brief.
